M.A.G.I.C.  B.U.D.D.I.E.S. ® Workshop Training for Teachers:

The M.A.G.I.C. B.U.D.D.I.E.S. ® workshop focuses on the pairing of general education and exceptional education students in the learning and performing of simple sleight-of-hand magic tricks to enhance self-esteem, academic skills, and acceptance of students with exceptionalities. Research on the use of magic tricks in the classroom is discussed; however, the main focus is on providing a hands-on interactive workshop which will furnish participants with skills to create a set of magic tricks that can be immediately used in the classroom. Motto: Educate By Entertaining.

Mission Statement for M.A.G.I.C.  B.U.D.D.I.E.S. ®:
To provide opportunities for social interaction for individuals with and without disabilities thereby fostering friendships that will influence positive perceptions of diversity. The end result will enhance social interactions of individuals with and without disabilities through the use of magic thus promoting positive perceptions of all involved.

M.A.G.I.C. B.U.D.D.I.E.S. ® clubs give many opportunities for children to learn tricks which will amaze their friends and family. More importantly, the clubs offer the opportunity to develop friendships and broaden their understanding of working in diverse environments. M.A.G.I.C. B.U.D.D.I.E.S. ® was designed to pair individuals of various abilities to create an environment supportive for ALL individuals who are interested in learning and performing magic. Supporting each other as they learn is very essential.  This M.A.G.I.C. B.U.D.D.I.E.S. ® experience will enhance the ease and confidence of presenting and talking in front of an audience.  Presentation skills are valuable life long skills with many benefits.  We hope you take this opportunity to explore the many benefits magic has to offer.
